Latest Trends in Short-Story Writing by Women: The Dissolution of the Plot

In recent years the short-story has become a narrative genre where many writers have found a suitable scheme of artistic representation. The aim of this paper is to make a brief but revealing study about one of the genres that is being widely cultivated by young women writers. In order to achieve this, it will review a significant number of storybooks published in the last decade by women, and it will also explore the configuration of their narrative universes. Finally, the conclusion will provide an overview, if possible, of the latest trends in the Spanish short-story written by women.
