Miguel F. Ruiz Garrido, member of the research group GRAPE (www.grape.uji.es), is a Senior Lecturer at Universitat Jaume I. He teaches English Language and English for Business Communication at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, although he has experience in other ESP areas. His research interest is in oral and written discourse analysis, text analysis, genre studies, having published somearticles both in journals and monographs at national and international levels. His main research fields are English for Academic Purposes and English for Professional Purposes, as well as Content and Language Integrating Learning(CLIL). He has co-authored Hablar inglés en la universidad: docencia e investigación (2008, Septem Ediciones), and co-edited Intercultural and International Business Communication: Theory, Research and Teaching (2006,Peter Lang), and Hacia una educación plurinlingüe: experiencias Docentes AICLE (2009, UJI). He is a member of the European Association of Languagesfor Specific Purposes (AELFE), the Association for Business Communication (ABC) and the Spanish Applied Linguistics Association (AESLA).
