As the major libraries have gradually published their datasets with Linked Open Data (LOD) technology, the number of open data services and projects linked to libraries has continued to grow. Despite the initial difficulties, the adaptation to the new models, regulations and formats, the library community has joined the world of linked open data as a means of achieving better access and use of the data in its collections and of promoting reuse on the web. This article collects information about current library LOD services and projects, paying par-ticular attention to authority catalogues by reviewing the bibliography published in recent years. Now, the Centre de Recur-sos per a l’Aprenentatge i la Investigació of the Universitat de Barcelona is joining the LOD community, offering its subject authority dataset, the Thesaurus of the University of Barcelona (THUB) in linked open data.
