Southern Catalan Library 2.0: social web tools in Tarragona’s public libraries

The article provides an overview of different Web 2.0 (or social web) services used in various public libraries in theprovince of Tarragona (Spain): in Cambrils, Mont-roig del Camp, El Vendrell, Torredembarra, Reus, Roquetes andTortosa. It also discusses the tools used by the Central Library Services of Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre that serveas a support center for all public libraries in the province. Finally, some conclusions are drawn regarding trends anduses.
