Cataloguing electronic online serials: present state of the rules revision

The development of electronic online resources, so different from the materials that used to fill the shelves of libraries, has accelerated the revision of description and cataloguing rules, and the principles on which these rules are based. This paper describes the present state of the revision of the rules regarding serials and comments some problems in the processing of online serials.
