Choosing our future, working with our present: (from the perspective of a North- American library)

Based on his experience at Mankato State University, the author writes on the
future evolution of academic libraries concerning the technological changes which they must accept. With this, he considers round tables on technology, teaching and learning as a useful tool to define the future, not only in academic libraries but in the university as a whole.
