Pío Brezosa Tablares (1868 - 1939) was a Spanish
doctor born in Valladolid and trained in Madrid. Resident in Barcelona since 1913, he practiced military medicine and collaborated
with the Hospital de Nens Pobres (Hospital for Poor Children). He
was also a press columnist, disseminator of public health and
politics issues; some of his work is historical - medical. He was
characterized by its visceral anti-Catalanism.
