El cinema sobre els homicidis múltiples als EUA posterior a la Guerra Freda ha tractat qüestions molt diverses sobre la societat, la cultura, la política i les estructures estatunidenques. La por i la paranoia, el dret a la possessió d’armes de foc, el radicalisme religiós, els prejudicis, el racisme, el masclisme, la falta d’oportunitats, el desencant per l’estil de vida occidental i l’avarícia, són alguns dels temes principals d’aquest cinema.

Biografia de l'autor/a

Daniel Saus Noguer, Universitat de Girona

es Graduado en Historia por la Universitat de Girona (2019-2023), con Master de Investigación en Humanidades por la UdG (2023-2024). Desde 2024 es doctorando en Historia Contemporánea y desde 2025 lo hace como personal investigador gracias a una ayuda FI-SDUR 2025 de AGAUR (Generalitat de Catalunya), también en la UdG. Su investigación se enmarca en disciplinas como la Historia Política y Cultural y la Historia de los Intelectuales. Su tesis doctoral tratará sobre los intelectuales catalanes y su papel durante el llamado Procés independentista.
