This article is a historical, codicological study of the manuscripts associated with
Ramon Llull or with some of his closest assistants. There are particular morphological
features that make it possible to establish a list ap manuscripts which share these features
and could thus be contemporaneous with them. This is the so called «first-generation of
Llull manuscripts», which represent a starting-point for a global study of the manuscript
tradition of Ramon Llulls work.
