The xxth century appears philosophically as a century of great dispersion and rnultiplicity. However, one can drastically reduce it: irrationalisrn, sociology and social philosophy, logics and methodology. Preocuparion about existente and life of men; just as consequence of the suspicion of the rationality. This, however (because one can not disregard ir) has looked for a place in the science and technics. This is the philosophy of science. Traditionally, it has been rnade as logical analysis of scientific theories, the only rigorous knowledge. But i: has arrived to unsolvables difficulties too (relacivity, quantum physics; or Kuhn, Feyerabend). 1s it possible to reduce science to technics orily? to give up the atternpt ot the understanding what their equations te11 us about the world and rest only with their application? to bet on a «lights thought? The sarne science, and the same scientists (Hawking), seerns to dernand the philosopher for sornething else. Of course, ir is necessary that the philosopher go further than logics only, and, in dialogue with science, without dogmatismes and without cornplexes, to make philosophy of science a new philosophy of nature. It is absolutely necessary to rnake up one's mind philosophy again.
