The Consistency between International and Institutional Contextualism

The aim of this article is to show how the postures defended in A Theory of Justice and The Law of Peoples can be conciled. I will show what are the reasons in A Theory of Justice that justify that the principles of justice apply to the evaluation and design of the domestic basic structure. Then, I will show that these very same reasons explain that the principles of justice do not apply to the international sphere.
