This article remembers the figure of the psychologist Werner Wolff of Berlin, who died
about fifty years ago. The different sections of the article address his training and research
orientation in the psychology of the Gestalt, psychoanalysis and ethnopsychology. His presence
in Barcelona between 1933 and 1936 allows us to document his work in the Psychotechnical
Institute of the Government of Catalonia, the Institut Pere Mata of Reus and other institutions managed or promoted by doctor Emili Mira, as well as his collaborations in the
Journal of Psychology and Pedagogy.
