Chemistry is not only found in books and laboratories, so, many of the chemicals products which are studied every day in the classroom or common applications that can be exemplary to teach and motivate students in the study of this experimental science. Sodium acetate (NaOAc) is a chemical products that has several applications as a salt-base (buffer solution and neutralizing agent), an additive in the food industry (E-262), as a hand warmer for daily use. This product is of great interest for industrially applications as teaching resources.
