Berenguer Bartomeu, draper barceloní d’arrels maresmenques (segle XV)

Through analysis of deeds generated around different relationships and procedures of the barcelonian draper Berenguer Bartomeu, we will get to know the deceased person’s relatives, his properties, his daily life objects, the economic activities he developed and his strong relations with the Baix Maresme area. Therefore, this is a very interesting case study as it offers an approach to the subject of our research from different perspectives. Moreover, it allows us to deepen into two main economic activities in late medieval Barcelona, drapery and credit.
