The profession of fisherman in Catalonia, throughout his-tory, has been accompanied with a series of complemen-tary tasks besides fishing itself. In this paper we will go over the range of land tenure and agricultural activities amongst fishermen in the towns of Tossa, Lloret and Bla-nes, located in the region of la Selva, in the 15th century. Thus, the wide range of possibilities these fishermen co-unted on to complement their economies will be conside-red: from the kitchen garden to the tenure of manses, from the vineyard to the cereal crops. Furthermore, we will also briefly analyse some of the compatibility strate-gies between fishing activities and husbandry
