The popularization of the homosexual archetype in the film comedy of the late Franco period

In Spain, in the 70s, the Francoist repression became harder and, at the same time, several forces opposed to the dictatorship grew up. According to this historical framework it’s interesting to analyze how the first gay rights organizations, which fought for the decriminalization, developed themselves while an increasing number of popular comedy movies made use of the gay archetype.
