It was Bohemian artists who made the most intensive use of your existence in the transgression to reject the middle class order and morality, and did so with full awareness of the ideology behind their acts.
Through this challenge to middle class values (above al1 as regards the social question) it was probably the Bohemians who best represented Spanish women in their condition of being exploited, as these belonged to the dispossessed, whose cause the Bohemians supported. In this regard, they coincide with the words of Jean Pierrot, for whom decadent imagination ranges between two images/myths about women: the femme fatale and the woman as victim.
