The phonological analysis of Basque language emotions is beginning to develop. This may be due to two circumstances, on the one hand, is difficult to write survey questions about emotional language, and the other hand, we cannot define a taxonomy of the emotions. The aim of this paper is to present a phonological analysis of some phrases in varieties spoken in the Eastern part of Basque Country, and to do a preliminary analysis of emotions production. For the constitution of the corpus was selected a semantically neutral sentence, initially the informants were asked to say the neutral sentence, and then, the same sentence in the five basic emotions. The phonological analysis of the phrases was made according to three criteria: syllabic position of the prosodic peak, types of pitch accents and types of boundary tones.
