Inmutabilidad del texto, libertad del lector y experiencia estética

The presentation of an immutable expression by the ariistic text is neither a value in itself nor the vehicle of precision in its meaning. On the contrary, it is founded on the fact that language is not an instrumentfor literature, but rather its marter, and al1 other components that language sets in motion work in the artistic text not as signs with a priori value, but as parts of a unitary object whose meaning is derived by clues, by the reaction created when it is connected with the experience of the reader. The reader is, finally, the one who connects the material of the text in order to construct some kind of special language to express his personal experience.
