Detrás de la cortina con bolitas de madera

A curtain of little wooden balls separated, in a permeable way, in my shop, the public space from the family and private one. In the family one, every year I looked, for my little daughter, for a babysitter, a guardian of my treasures, my daughter and my home; I looked for her out of my inner needs, I called her from there, from my desire… We created a singular relationship based on what Gianina Longobardi calls “the economy of the gift”… The public space, born out of the desire to create a business of my own as a place of wellbeing, “a place of love” where to bring “order, meaning and world”… and where those two spaces mixed creatively with each other. This is the account of that experience.
