This article was prepared thinking about the challenges of 21st century education in relation to the teaching-learning processes of experimental sciences and its fundamental objective is to present somelearning methodologies based on the support of web 2.0 tools as facilitators in the dynamic presentation of contents, evaluation methods, effective communication between theteacher and his students. All this has the purpose of generating meaningful learning in highs chool students. There ader is presented with a tour of the key concepts of 21st century learning, short but meaningful reviews of what are learning based on problems, learning based on games, or learning based on projects that set the tone for adapting strategies that go hand in hand with web 2.0. Some of the web 2.0 tools used in the significant learning of the 21st century were also revealed and within each section we talk about the positive effects that these educational proposals cause in the learning of the students and the educational community in general. Present several resources and models of educational projects that were and are applied in different parts as positive experiences of the teaching-learning process. For a second and final delivery we will discuss the challenges faced by education adapted to web 2.0 tools in several Ibe ro-American countries since, due to lack of investment in the governments of these countries, Internet connectivity is very poor or null in regions marginal urbanor rural having the internet service a significant cost that can not be assimilated by students of low economic resources providing this a poor education to many young people in our region.
