Lacoue-Labarthe y De Man ante lo sublime: un diálogo pendiente

Main Article Content

Nemrod Carrasco
This work faces two important interpretations of the contemporary sublime. Lacoue-Labarthe identifies truth with sublime in accordance with a Heidegger’s reading of Hegel; De Man denounces the ideological component of this category based on an Aesthetik’s deconstructive reading. My claim here is not, certainly, «to judge who has reason», chooses imply one of two Hegel’s possible readings but, rather, expose the theoric and political consequences ignored by them.
