The journalistic practice of a revolutionary activist, Ángel Samblancat, the “wild boar”

Ángel Samblancat was a journalist in the first third of the 20th century who stood out for his combative way of approaching journalism for the sake of the ideal of social justice. For his writings, he was prosecuted and imprisoned many times during the Monarchy. In the Second Republic he formed part of the Constituent Assembly as a federal upholder on the ERC lists, while maintaining his membership in the CNT. He was an editor and columnist for the newspaper El Diluvio, in which he published continuously until March, 1938. This paper introduces the journalist and analyzes the almost two hundred articles which he published in that newspaper between 1931 and 1938.
