The main objectives of COMPRENDRE are, on the one hand, to promote philosophical research in Catalonia, and on the other, to present the international scene of contemporary philosophical studies. COMPRENDRE can thus contribute to the articulation of a philosophical communication space. It publishes in open access two issues a year.
COMPRENDRE is indexed in Erih Plus, CIRC, EBSCO, IBR, IBZ, IBZ Online ISOC, Latindex, Dialnet, Philosopher's Index and International Philosophical Bibliography (Université de Louvain). It has received the FECYT Seal. Its ICDS is included in MIAR. It is also part of REDIB (Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento scientifico).
COMPRENDRE has been selected by Elsevier in order to be indexed in SCOPUS since December 2015. Forms part of the SJR (Scimago Journal & Country Rank).
