The attitude that Ramon Llull keeps in front of the Arab sources is a progress in historical terms. His writings offer a rationalistic and discursive orientation which starts to recognize the part of truth contained in the messages of ‘Quran, that is to say, a certain point of contact. It was only necessary to correct, to bring about with useful and right readings, to tolerate the diversity and the difference, which is exactly one of the Aristotelian categories, a property of the Nature and, finally, a positive trait of the world, of the city of the world that Llull dreamed.
