The human dynamism in Gregory of Nyssa, a proposal for postmodernism

Relational ontology appears on the horizon of late antique ontology thanks to theological reflection on the triune God. It seems to us that in that ontology, from which new anthropologies sprang, we find a treasure from which to draw today in order to overcome the cultural logic of late postmodern capitalism. In the article, we move into the proposal of dynamism offered by the anthropology of Gregory of Nyssa. He considered human change as a dimension glorified by God’s entry into history and opened a way to know the limit as spiritual openness. Indeed, the Cappadocian father envisages human dynamism as a vocation (relationship) towards a continuous growth.
