L'art del retrat conceptual. Deleuze i la història de la filosofia

La tasca que Deleuze assigna a la pràctica del comentari no és una altra que la d’alliberar el pensament de l’ordre filosòfic custodiat per la historiografia standard. És per a això que el filòsof francès recorre a un determinat tipus de discurs, qualificat com a «indirecte lliure», capaç d’amollir les closes en les quals la Història de la Filosofia ha confinat i arraconat els pensadors —i, amb ells, el pensament. Així mateix, Deleuze posa en relleu l’existència d’un «esdevenir-filosòfic», el que, alhora que ultrapassa la falsa alternativa d’allò etern i d’allò històric, fa aflorar i anuncia una concepció nova (intempestiva) de la (història de la) filosofia.

The task that Deleuze assigns to the practice of commentary is no other than the liberation of the thought of the philosophical order guided by standard historiography. Thereby, the French philosopher makes a specific type of speech, classified as «free indirect», capable of weakening the confines in which the history of philosophy has remained restricted and limited to thinkers, and the process of thought itself. Deleuze similarly points out the existence of a «philosophical becoming», which, while surpassing the false alternative of the eternal and the historical, points to a new (not limited by time) conception of (the history of) philosophy.
