The Lliga Regionalista and the right wing

In the century of the foundation of the Lliga Regionalista, which was the first modern party of Catalanism, Balcells wrote an article which falls upon the conservatism-centrism of the party of Francesc Cambó. The article denies that this party was as reactionary as it had often been accused of. The author describes the politics of alliances and the scissions of the Lliga and the points out that this party nearly always suffered these scissions in periods of rightist politics.
