This research aims to analyze the typology of neologisms with anti- in current Spanish and establish parameters for their possible insertion in general dictionaries. In a first stage, the different positions on the grammatical category assigned to the terms formed with anti- and the semantic nuances that the meaning of opposition unfolds are reviewed. This review is the framework to characterize 198 neologisms of peninsular Spanish, generated with this prefix and extracted from the press corpus of the Observatorio de Neología (Corpus Obneo) in the five-year period 2014-2018. In a second stage, a hierarchy of parameters is proposed to incluide these neologisms in the general dictionary, established from the combination of three data: the previous characterization of the neologisms with anti-; the synthesis of the lexicographic criteria pointed out in different studies and the comparison of the educts with anti- integrated into two general dictionaries: the DLE and the Clave.
