La expresión de la amenaza en el lenguaje juvenil

The aim of our study is to analyze, from a pragmatic point of view, the use of expressions of threat by young Spanish men (for example, constructions with como at the beginning of sentences, como te coja, te voy a reventar la cara; time sentences introduced by cuando, cuando te pesque, te mato; verbal periphrases of immediate future, hijo de puta, te voy a partir la cara, etc.). The corpus for this study is made up of the answers to 315 anonymous questionnaires passed in different Andalusian high schools. Eventually, we will try to contribute to the definition, expansion and understanding of the phenomenon of verbal impoliteness by engaging in the current scholarly discussions about it.
