A new species of the genus Europs Wollaston, 1854 from Cuba (Coleoptera: Monotomidae: Monotominae: Europini)

Coleoptera collected in two campaigns in Cuba are studied, the first in the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, Guantanamo province and the second in the Punta Frances National Marine Park, located on Juventud Island. Geography, vegetation and climatology are discussed in each Park. Of each species collected data on the known presence on the island and distribution as well as its known biology are given. A new species of the family Monotomidae belonging to the genus Europs Wollaston, 1854, is described, accompanied by the graphic representation of the habitus, morphological details, aedeagus and map of the National Parks with location of the collection sites.
