This work treats of the “business” of the electricity in Rosario’s city (Argentina) at the end of the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century. Specifi cally it analyzes the growth of this type of emprendimientos of the hand of foreign companies; the commercial and productive joint of these companies with the industries taken root in the area, and his ties with Rosario’s Municipality.
