"Cueveros" and cave-homes in Moral de Calatrava (Ciudad Real), 1957

To reach an apropriate house was very difficult for many people when the Spanish Housing Office was created in 1957. In Moral de Calatrava (Ciudad Real), the cave-homes tried to become a modest alternative to the general housing crisis, although the Franco’s Dictatorship Govern and the other national authorities were oposed to them.
