Spanish immigration according the Padron Municipal of 2007

Spain has become in scarcely 10 years in one of the countries with a highest rate of foreigners entries. It is a recent phenomenon which is developing in a very intense manner and as a result immigration has become a core subject in the national politic and social debate.
Its dynamism and continuous adaptation to the context has turned the constant study of its reality a priority for social investigation. Contributing to a better knowledge of the society in which he lives is an essential compromise of a social scientist and it must be the base upon which effective policies can be implemented in order to improve the situation.
According to the exposed, this work intends to analyze the Spanish immigration reality using the provisional results of the census that have recently been published. (6/12/2007).
