Intercambios virtuales en formación docente. Estado del arte y desafíos para la enseñanza de la lengua

En este artículo, se presenta una revisión de antecedentes por investigaciones que han tomado como objeto, desde diferentes enfoques y metodologías, una práctica educativa relativamente novedosa: los intercambios virtuales en formación docente. Esta práctica pedagógica requiere de una revisión de la bibliografía especializada que tenga en cuenta esa heterogeneidad constitutiva a la hora de presentar los avances en el campo. En este sentido, el presente artículo se organiza a partir de tres dimensiones: primero, parte de investigaciones de carácter general sobre intercambios virtuales; segundo, se indaga qué se ha estudiado en el ámbito de la formación docente. Y, finalmente, a raíz del recorrido bibliográfico, se señalan los aspectos que convierten a estos proyectos colaborativos interculturales en una práctica significativa de reflexión lingüística y de metacognición para futuros docentes de lengua; así como también las preguntas vacantes que constituyen un promisorio punto de partida para pensar los desafíos en la educación lingüística.
