In an attempt to verify and uncover the traces of Marius Schneider in Zambrano, our work is organized in three parts: a synopsis of the fundamental ideas of the musicologist, an examination of his relationship with the problem of “knowledge of the soul”, and, finally, a review of Schneider’s contributions to the Zambranian methodological proposal.
