Precariedades y vulnerabilidades en la migración. Notas para el análisis de la situación de mujeres centroamericanas en México

This article seeks to emphasize in the chain of precariousness and vulnerability that oc-curs in the different stages of the migratory process, of Central American women who arrive in Mexico, either in transit to the United States, or because for different reasons they live in Mexico. Living conditions in Central America, in places of origin, have contributed to greater precariousness and greater degrees of social vulnerability and / or economic vulnerability, which has forced emi-gration. This migration also occurs in precarious conditions due to irregular migration status, but also due to insecurity, uncertainty and defenselessness in the transit and settlement territories, which in another dimension and degree generates new vulnerabilities due to the threats of a differ-ent type that put at risk the security of the migrants in contexts in which the migration is controlled.
