Un error de Ortega y Gasset

This paper aims to show a serious misreading of Spinoza by Ortega, which ap-parently proceeded from the idea of Unamuno, according to which Spinoza's philosophy was, after all, a reflection on death. This idea is incompatible with the philosophy of Spi-noza, but arises from Unamuno's reflection on death, which led to Ortega's assume that the philosophy of Spinoza was a meditatio mortis. I study the work of Ortega, to confirm their ignorance or not with respect to Spinoza, and their possible influence on the mere literature, and thus confirm what I think is an unfortunate error.
