Otras voces de mujer: el feminismo de la diversidad funcional

In this article, one of the most recent feminist trends, that in parctice, it becomes a fortunate missUnderstanding of two worlds: feminism and functional diversity (disability). Functionally diverse (disabled) women are part of the group of excluded women, and therefore inexistant, in the official discourse in occidental feminism. Now we are empowering in order ta have our voices heard too, and in that way, we construct a new feminism. It is not appropiate to talk about one feminism any more, to abstract a standard woman in order to talk about women, on the contrary, nowadays there is a need to talk about feminisms, in plural, covering the new referent: diversity in women, that must be considered from their existencial contexts, because omitting this diversity can lead to a new type of violence.
