Bruce Lee’s Philosophical Principles, Applied to Pedagogy

Main Article Content

Toni Giménez Fajardo
We know Bruce Lee as a martial artist and for his films. A
bright, perceptive, and critical person that evolutionized the concept of martial arts. Behind this man, who only lived for 32 years, there is a real philosopher (he had a degree in philosophy), who deeply reflected about the human being and his educational potential. From his philosophical reflections, we will establish a series of principles that relate the human being with his (self)education, and at the same time we will demystify his figure (always surrounded by anecdotes and shams) to place him at the human level and to appraise what he
said and thought, being ahead of his time, with reference to the possibilities that every person has to mature and grow up from a spiritual point of view. This article is written both for education professionals in general and for physical education professionals, in particular, as well as for philosophers, anthropologists and thinkers about the human being.
KEY-WORDS: Pedagogy, music, Bruce Lee.
