The airports are possibly the more polemic transport infrastructures of the last years in Spain, because ones like that of Ciudad Real, Lleida or Castellón. In this paper we analyze briefly the airports in the Mainland Spain from a socio-economic profitability perspective and also from its geographic distribution as determinant factor of its employ as elements of territorial cohesion.
