Main Article Content
The historical relevance of Borriana is unquestionable, at least, since the entry of James I the Conqueror: with him, the town became rich and developed its political personality. This attitude has become affected during the last century, but although the municipality has been displaced gradually from its economic centrality, the cultural interest has always been alive. The article proposes a literary tour of the town, the surroundings, and the maritime zone: the selected readings are intended to follow the urban and natural landscape and to sketch a not so well-known image of the capital of the Plana Baixa.
