Un balanç provisional sobre la comunicació científia en català

After some general reflections on the communicability of scientific knowledge, this paper centers on the history of scientific writtings in Catalan, from Middle Ages to present time. Some relevant cases are discussed, paying special attention to the specific difficulties of Catalan to become a normal vehicle of scientific communication.
