The goals of the research I am currently working out are the catalogue and inventory of the musical fund of the former parish church of Sant Pere de Ripoll, which belongs since 2001 to the Arxiu Comarcal del Ripollès (ACRI), the study and description of its historical and cultural context, of the works contained in the fund and their authors. The fund is preserved in 41 boxes, of which 29 consist of manuscript scores, 9 of printed music, one box contains musical theory and two other boxes contain single incomplete fragments. The methodology applied in the catalogue is based on the catalographic description criteria of the IFMuC project of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Currently there are 422 anonymous works listed, while 469 works may be attributed to around 200 authors. The fund also contains 141 printed music scores. The majority of the works preserved in the fund, both manuscript and printed, belong to several genres of sacred music.
