Th e article is a catalogue of 177 scrolls, the oldest of the Parish Archive series of the
Basilica of Saints Justus and Pastor in Barcelona, together with the scrolls of the Gualbes
series that are part of the same archive. Th ese documents are catalogued in strict chronological
order and span the years 1173 to 1399. Th ey include sales and purchases, receipts,
emphyteutic leases, arbitral awards, authentic relics, and especially wills and testamentary
clauses establishing and providing anniversaries and pious causes in the church. Together they comprise a collection of documents of very special historical and archival interest.
