Floristic notes of the upper Pallars county (Central Pyrenees)

We present data about 32 taxa observed in the upper Pallars county (southern slope of Central Pyrenees). Basically this is information of biogeographical interest, that often also has a conservationist interest due to the rarity of these taxa: range extremes of plants with an atlantic distribution in the Pyrenees and very rare in the Iberian part of these mountains, and also new sites of orophytes wich are scarce in the Pyrenees and have a fragmented global area. Cerinthe glabra Miller is a new taxa for the Iberian flora, since it was only known in the northern slope of the Pyrenees. It’s outstanding the discovery of a population of the Eastern Iberian endemic Salvia valentina Vahl. in a Pyrenean valley very far from the main range of this taxa. We also remark the information about Matthiola valesiaca J. Gay, an alpine orophyte very rare and unknown in the Pyrenees.
