For several decades, research on residents' perceptions of the impacts of tourism has been a relevant topic. However, there are segments in the population that are vulnerable to the impacts of tourism and that have been little considered for study, one of them are children residing in tourist destinations, who should be taken into account to achieve the Development Goals. Sustainable Development of the 2030 Agenda, in that sense, the objective of this work was to identify more precise information about the state of knowledge on the subject. Methodologically, a systematic review was carried out in two important databases Scopus and Google Scholar and the PRISMA method was applied in order to synthesize the results found in said search; To complement the search, a traditional literature review was subsequently carried out. The results reveal a gap in the literature as only 19 articles are found that reveal the perceptions of children, of their own voice. It is concluded that more studies should be carried out considering resident children since in the future they will be the workforce and will be in charge of planning the tourist space.
