Main Article Content
The collection of poems Teoría del polen, written by Victoria Ramírez and published in 2021, presents a series of exercises of post-production that call into being a form of representation of plants that is visible through assemblages within the literary text. These can be observed in fragments of quotes and imagery that are interspersed between poems in verse and prose, and their forms of presentation vary, in turn, between the lyrical and forms closer to the informative. The assemblage opens up the possibility for political discourse and gives space to the corporeality of plants to show their capacity for agency. However, a problem of representation arises in this gesture, since such assemblage would be truncated precisely by the exercise of representation when it is said by another, a human voice. From this perspective, plants would not have a full capacity for agency in the literary space.
