Post-11 fear & terrorism in Spain. Ever since international terrorism shocked the world with the attacks in New York, Madrid and London, amongst other cities, fear and insecurity have grown in western society. This paper examines the evolution of terrorism and citizen insecurity in the public and personal agendas of Spaniards between 2000 and 2004. The data analysed show how both issues occupy the highest degrees of importance, and how these are perceived by the citizens since 11th September 2001.
