This article explores how narrative mediation can help manage conflicts between parents and adolescents in family life in China and Spain. To begin with, the most frequent conflicts between parents and their adolescent children in the two countries are described. Next, the concept of narrative mediation is introduced and its advantages, limitations, and potential for use in family life are detailed.
